🥭 Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh fruits (strawberry / mango / mixed fruit – chopped)
- ½ cup pure honey
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest (optional, for freshness)
- 1–2 tbsp water (only if needed)
👩🍳 Method
- Wash and finely chop the fruits.
- Add the fruits to a heavy-bottom pan and cook on low flame.
- Stir occasionally until the fruits become soft and pulpy.
- Add pure honey and mix well.
- Add lemon juice (this helps in setting and preservation).
- Continue cooking on low flame, stirring continuously, until the mixture thickens and gets a jam-like consistency.
- Turn off the heat and allow it to cool.
- Transfer to a clean, dry glass jar and store.
