Ingredients
- Fresh mint leaves
- 2 tea bags (black or green tea)
- 4 cups of water
- 1/4 cup Shafia Honey
Method
- Boil Water: Bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
- Prepare Pitcher: Place the fresh mint leaves and tea bags in a large pitcher.
- Add Boiling Water: Carefully pour the boiling water over the mint and tea bags in the pitcher.
- Steep: Cover and let the mixture steep for 5 minutes.
- Strain: Strain to remove the mint leaves and discard the tea bags.
- Sweeten: Stir in 1/4 cup of Shafia Honey until dissolved. Allow the mixture to cool slightly.
- Freeze Initial Stage: Pour the tea mixture into an 8-by-8-inch metal pan. Cover and place the pan in the freezer for 1 hour.
- Scrape: Remove the pan from the freezer and scrape the mixture with a fork, crushing any lumps.
- Freeze and Scrape: Return the pan to the freezer for an additional 20 minutes. Remove and scrape again.
- Repeat Process: Continue freezing and scraping every 20 minutes until the mixture becomes light and fluffy.
