Ingredients
- 6 bread slices (cut into cubes)
- 2 cups milk
- 3 tbsp pure honey
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp raisins (optional)
- ½ tsp cinnamon powder
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Grease a baking dish lightly with butter.
- Arrange the bread cubes evenly in the dish.
- In a bowl, whisk milk, eggs, honey, vanilla extract and cinnamon powder.
- Pour the mixture over the bread cubes and let them soak for a few minutes.
- Sprinkle raisins on top if desired.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until the pudding becomes golden and set.
- Serve warm and drizzle a little extra honey on top.
