Ingredients
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- ½ cup pure honey
- ½ cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- In a bowl mix flour, cocoa powder and baking powder.
- In another bowl whisk butter, honey and eggs.
- Add vanilla extract and milk.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients with the wet mixture.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake tin.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool before slicing.
