Honey And Mint Sweet Tea Granita


  • Fresh mint leaves
  • 2 tea bags (black or green tea)
  • 4 cups of water
  • 1/4 cup Shafia Honey


  1. Boil Water: Bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Prepare Pitcher: Place the fresh mint leaves and tea bags in a large pitcher.
  3. Add Boiling Water: Carefully pour the boiling water over the mint and tea bags in the pitcher.
  4. Steep: Cover and let the mixture steep for 5 minutes.
  5. Strain: Strain to remove the mint leaves and discard the tea bags.
  6. Sweeten: Stir in 1/4 cup of Shafia Honey until dissolved. Allow the mixture to cool slightly.
  7. Freeze Initial Stage: Pour the tea mixture into an 8-by-8-inch metal pan. Cover and place the pan in the freezer for 1 hour.
  8. Scrape: Remove the pan from the freezer and scrape the mixture with a fork, crushing any lumps.
  9. Freeze and Scrape: Return the pan to the freezer for an additional 20 minutes. Remove and scrape again.
  10. Repeat Process: Continue freezing and scraping every 20 minutes until the mixture becomes light and fluffy.
