Honey Bread Pudding

Ingredients

  • 6 bread slices (cut into cubes)
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 tbsp pure honey
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp raisins (optional)
  • ½ tsp cinnamon powder

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Grease a baking dish lightly with butter.
  3. Arrange the bread cubes evenly in the dish.
  4. In a bowl, whisk milk, eggs, honey, vanilla extract and cinnamon powder.
  5. Pour the mixture over the bread cubes and let them soak for a few minutes.
  6. Sprinkle raisins on top if desired.
  7. Bake for 30–35 minutes until the pudding becomes golden and set.
  8. Serve warm and drizzle a little extra honey on top.
